One of the favorite brands that we have introduced to the shop in the last 12 months is Orchard toys. Orchard Toys design and manufacture their products in the UK and they specialise in games and puzzles for younger children. Doing the design in the UK allows them to link their products to Key Stages in the National Cirricullum or the Early Learning objectives. The games are so well designed that children don't know that they are using an educational game.

Orchard Toys are developing some inovative products using audio tape or audio CD. Crash, Bang, Wallop is a great game where you listen out for sounds to help you build your house. But listen out for the breaking glass!

Orchard Toys also have some great audio jigsaws. The Goldilocks and the Nursery rhyme puzzle both provide you with audio CDs for you to listen to the story and put in the pieces along with the narrator.

Manhattan Toy produce bright, colourful and interesting toys for babies and young children. Their Whoozit range is very popular and they are adding new products to the range all the time. Our favourites are the Activity Spiral and the Tuck and Pull Ball
