Delivery Options and Policies

We offer four ways for you to receive your goods. If you live locally you can collect them yourself from our shop. Alternatively we can deliver them to you in the evening, or we can send them via a parcel service.

Personal Collection

If you wish you can choose to collect the goods you have ordered yourself. As you would expect there is no charge for this. Goods can be collected during normal shop opening hours (10:30AM to 5:30PM Monday to Saturday).Please allow at least one hour for us to process and pick your order. (If you need the goods sooner please call the shop at the shop).

IMPORTANT

If you are paying by credit or debit card when you collect the goods you will be asked to show the card used for the purchase and you may be asked to sign a credit card slip. Only the cardholder can collect the goods. Please call the shop if you need clarification.

Evening Delivery to local addresses

If you live in Highgate, Hampstead, Crouch End, or Muswell Hill we can deliver the goods to you in the evening. If the value of the goods you have ordered is £30 or more there will be no charge for delivery. For orders less than £ 30 we will charge £ 5 for delivery.

After you have placed your order we will contact you to confirm a delivery time.

IMPORTANT

When we deliver the goods we will require to see the credit or debit card used for the purchase of the goods or we will collect cash on delivery. If the goods have been purchased using a credit or debit card we can only deliver to the cardholder's billing address.

Delivery to Mainland UK

We use the Post Office, Parcel Force or Business Post for UK mainland delivery. We currently prefer the Post Office as, if you miss the delivery and have to collect the goods; the collection points are generally more conveniently located than other mainstream parcel delivery services.

If your order is placed before 12 Noon between Monday and Friday (excluding Public Holidays) we will endeavor to process and pick your order on the same day. We will notify you by e-mail when your order is dispatched and when you should anticipate delivery. We will contact you if anything happens that stops us from meeting this target.

Standard Delivery – 3 to 5 Working days

Our standard UK mainland delivery charge is £ 5 per delivery up to a maximum weight of 20Kg. For deliveries greater than 20Kg we will split the delivery into smaller batches or provide a quotation to you before we process your order.

Express Delivery – Next Working Day

If you need the goods you have ordered urgently and they are in stock we can deliver them to you the next working day if the order is placed before Noon Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).

IMPORTANT

Saturday is NOT a delivery day. If you place an order before3PM on a Friday it will be delivered on the Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a Public Holiday).

Delivery outside of Mainland UK

For security issues we currently do not offer delivery to addresses outside of mainland UK.

Prices and Payment Options

All our prices are shown in UK Pounds and you will be billed in UK Pounds. If your credit or debit card uses a different currency (e.g. Euros US Dollar) your card will be billed in UK Pounds and converted to the card’s currency using the card company's conversion rate. We cannot predict what their conversion rate will be.

We reserve the right to change the prices shown without prior notice. The price you pay will be confirmed when you place the order.

We accept on-line payment via Switch, Meastro, Solo, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. All payments are settled in UK Pounds.

UK VAT (Value Added Tax) is included in the prices where it is applicable. The VAT applied will be shown on the order confirmation and the checkout screens.

Returns and Refunds

Unwanted Goods

It sometimes happens that the goods you wanted aren't quite what you expected, or you made a mistake, or the child already has one. Whatever the reason, as long as the goods are un-opened and in their original packaging, we will give you a full refund. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods to get a returns number and instructions for returning the goods.

Remember, you are responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us, and for making sure the goods reach us in re-sellable condition. Once we have received the goods and checked them we will refund your money. (We recommend that you send the goods back to us using recorded delivery or an equivalent 'signed for' service).

Faulty Goods

If the goods you bought from us are faulty we will replace the goods or offer you a refund. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods and we will sort out the problem as quickly as possible.

Other Important Points

Correct Use of Goods

Goods we provide should only be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the age guidelines. We cannot be held liable for goods that are damaged through misuse. If you are un-sure of a product’s suitability please contact us at the shop and we can provide you with more information or put you in touch with the manufacturer.

Security

All online transactions are handled with SSL encryption. When you send us your credit card number on the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted form, then decoded when it gets to us.

Confidentiality

We will treat any personal details you provide with care. Your details will not be sold or passed on to any other commercial organization be used in any form of marketing or mailing list activity. We may contact you by e-mail or post from time to time with details of other products or services we have available, less you request us not to do so.
